CS Fall Workshop and Dinner - November 5, 2016

CS West members gathered together on November 5th for their annual Fall workshop and dinner. Serge Gabilondo, certified rigger at Blackline Marine, gave a detailed talk tailored for CS rigs. He also showed us work in progress on masts in the rigging workshop and finished up in the stock room to talk about the latest hardware and lines.

Dinner was a relaxed affair at the Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club. Members enjoyed visiting with each other and catching up on news. Commodore Kathie gave an update on next years Spring rendezvous at Port Browning when we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary.
Following dinner Henry and Gail gave an excellent presentation on their charter boat trip amongst the Galapagos Islands. Amazing to see how the animals are indifferent to the presence of humans when the wildlife are not threatened.
