All members in attendance seemed to have a good time, reconnecting with other CS sailors and enjoying the beautiful Telegraph Harbour setting and the warm, sunny weather. (Some of us even went swimming.) |

Happy Hour. Time to renew acquaintances and catch up on the summer news.

Becky and Rich introduced us to a new game - Left, Right, Centre. Keith won the practice game on Friday evening.
Breakfast. A team of CS members served breakfast Saturday morning. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausages, OJ, coffee, and fruit. Note the custom made pancake dispensers made from 2 liter milk jugs.

There was not much action at the Swap Meet but Cliff did manage to give away all but one of his items. Shall we do it again next year or give that activity a rest?
The Tech Talk had a discussion format this year. Joanne gave a well researched talk about maintaining water tanks. Bob T. described how he uses solar power on Heron. Rich talked about lazerette hatches and also showed everyone the boat umbrella he uses on Ocho.

Tai Chi. Maria and Jeff led a Tai Chi class after the Saturday morning breakfast.
Bocce. The Bocce Tournament was very successful once again for both participants and spectators. Congratulations to winners Mike and Heather. Henry arrived on site to be the official Referee in Chief. He didn’t come aboard Summer Snow but instead arrived in style in his convertible Porsche.

Supper and Raffle. The barbecue was fired up and dinner was soon served. CS members brought salads, desserts, and even delicious fried rice (courtesy of Maria and Jeff).

Left, Right, Centre or shall we say Starboard, Port and Lost at Sea. On Saturday night Lornell won the big prize, 92 quarters! (Were some of them the highly prized American quarters?)

Next year’s Rendezvous at Telegraph Harbour will be held September 5-8th. That’s Tuesday, September 5th for Happy Hour until Friday September 8th for the Cinnamon Bun Send-Off.
